After living in Seattle for about three months, we have finally made it to the Seattle Space Needle! Hooray!
The Space Needle is one of those too-touristy-but-we-have-to-go type places. It is usually pretty packed with people and kind of expensive ($23 per adult) but it is definitely a must do, even if it’s just once. We decided to go because we managed to get a little bit lucky.

We actually got pretty lucky on our trip for a couple of reasons.
#1: The Space Needle is undergoing renovations, so they are pretty desperate to get people to the sight. I found a coupon for buy one get one free on adult tickets at Starbucks. No joke! So we got to go up for basically half-off.
#2: It has been crazy sunny all week. It’s truly amazing because it rains all the time here! We were able to actually see the city and Mt. Rainier when we visited because of this amazing weather we have been enjoying.
The Space Needle really has three parts: the restaurant, observation deck, and gift shop.
We loved going for the observation deck, so even if you don’t get a chance to eat at the restaurant, it’s still a great time!
We had a great time! What are some touristy things you enjoy?
Much love,
Chelsea
