“Diane, 11:30 AM, February 24th. Entering the town of Twin Peaks.” -Detective Cooper
We finally finished watching Twin Peaks! We had visit Snoqualmie Falls last year and noticed all of the Twin Peaks memorabilia before we realized the show was partially filmed there. After noticing all the goodies we decided to watch the show.
Twin Peaks is super weird and strange, but we finished it so we went out to visit the area again.
They day we went, February 24th, actually turned out to be “Twin Peaks Day” because of the quote above. What luck!
Our first stop was Snoqualmie Falls.
Snoqualmie Falls
The falls are obviously the star of the area, but it is also the location of “The Great Northern”. The actual lodge there has a cute little Twin Peaks Package for visitors if you want to do Twin Peaks the right way.

The RR Cafe
Known in real-life as Twede’s Cafe, it’s the diner used for the show in almost every episode. We stopped in to get out of the cold for pie, coffee, and tea. This place is definitely a tourist trap as the food is a bit expensive, but we didn’t mind. 🙂
We had a great time eating our Twin Peaks Cherry Pie and drinking a “damn fine” cup of coffee. It was super fun walking the spots were some iconic characters have been and seeing the place that inspired such an imaginative show. Not to mention a spoof episode on Psych (Dual Spires- Season 5 Ep. 12) 😉 .
We saw a couple owls, but no Log Lady, so we’ll have to come back again and take a second look. 😉
Much love,
Chelsea
