Chelsea’s side of the family got to visit for a fun summer vacation in the PNW!
This past August my side of the family came to visit for a week of sunshine and PNW adventures! We had a great time showing my parents and sister all of the popular sites to see and favorite places we have visited.
Downtown Seattle
Early in our trip we spent time site-seeing downtown.

We saw the Fremont Troll and of course when to see the newly renovated Space Needle.
We drank so much coffee, ate great food, and enjoyed the wonderful sunshine!

Olympic Peninsula

We went to Hurricane Ridge and it was wonderful! We went on a short hike, ate a picnic lunch, and watched deer and other wildlife. A wonderful day!

On our way back to our AirBnB we had a flat tire, luckily we were able to get it fixed quickly and were able to enjoy some air conditioning. #memories

On our second day on the peninsula we went to the west side to see Ruby Beach, Lake Crescent, and the Hoh Rainforest.

We enjoyed a peaceful morning of driving and made a short stop at Lake Crescent. It was beautiful!

We went on a short walk through the trees at the Hoh Rainforest! It always feels like magic there.

Ferry Fun
We went to Bainbridge Island and had a great time on the ferry!
Mount Rainier National Park
We had a great time visiting Mount Rainier. It was the perfect sunny day so we could clearly see the mountain from all sides!

It was great to have family visit and see where we have been living the past 2 years. What a great week of sunshine and parks galore!

My parents were continuing on their road trip for another week or so and we drove with them to Idaho. On our way East we got to visit the setting of Northern Exposure. We ate breakfast at Roslyn Cafe and looked for Dr. Joel.

I can’t wait for the next visit!
Much love,
Chelsea
