A joyful day-trip to Washington’s favorite Christmas village!
Zach and I were able to explore into the mountains to visit Leavenworth, WA for their Christmas Light Festival. The small town is Bavarian themed with great food, drinks, and nestled in the mountains.
The drive up had snow covered mountains as we crossed Snoqualmie Pass. It made for a magical drive.
Seeing the landscape in Winter is a completely different experience than in summer. I changes the view completely.
The mountains were peeking out of the misty clouds making the town seem that much more magical!
We had some great sausages and mustards for lunch while we sat outside by some patio heaters. It was great to spend as much time outside as possible, even if if was cold.
Leavenworth is beautiful at any time of year, but Christmas really takes the cake. I am so glad we decided to come back this year.
