No South Dakota trip is complete without the four gents.
While on our trip, we had to see Mt. Rushmore National Memorial. Since we went during 2020, the park was undergoing some refurbishment, but we still got to see the main attraction!
It was fun getting to see such a famous landmark. We would like to go back in the future to see more of the museums as they were all closed. However, all of the gift stores were open along with the main view point.
We also had the chance to drive down the road to the Crazy Horse Memorial. The museums were all open, and it was cool to learn more about the area and the Native Tribes. Unfortunately the monument itself has not changed much and seems to be slow work. However, the project is privately funded, so feel free to donate if you would like to see it completed!
