Custer State Park 2020

What if we told you state parks were kind of cool too?

Honestly, we were pretty shocked to find out that Custer State Park was just a state park. There were amazing animals, a lake at the top of a mountain, and incredible rock formations.

Look at those jagged rocks! We were quite impressed seeing all of the formations. They all looked so different.

There was granite on granite on granite and we were happy about it. We love collecting rocks, so this was such fun to see huge boulders of it!

The formations were huge, it is so hard to get in a picture.

At the highest point on the road was a lake with a small lodge. There were people swimming and enjoying a lake day. The lake was such a surprise to us on our drive!
