Previously I wrote a post about buying a tent and the important questions to ask during the process. Zach and I recently received our REI refund so we decided to buy some hiking boots since we are hiking more than ever. When asking coworkers what to do over the weekend, I had at least 3 people tell me to go to Deception Pass. Located on Whidbey Island, it is about an hour and a half drive from Seattle, WA. We took a bit longer because we decided to take our time to explore more of the island.
Seeing the infamous Cherry Blossoms of UofW was definitely a highlight to my March!

I am officially 25. How crazy is that? A quarter of a century has already gone by!

We finally finished watching Twin Peaks! We had visit Snoqualmie Falls last year and noticed all of the Twin Peaks memorabilia before we realized the show was partially filmed there. After noticing all the goodies we decided to watch the show.
In early January Zach and I went to Portland, Oregon for a quick day trip. Ever since I saw Voodoo Donuts on the travel channel, I have wanted to check out all the “weird” stuff Portland had to offer. It just so happens to be on my 30 Before 30 list as well, so it was fun to check this one off. 🙂
