We love Harry Potter. So for our 2nd anniversary, we went to Hogwarts!
It’s no secret, as soon as you walk into our home, there are small nods to the series from wands on display to books on the shelf, we really enjoy the whole realm of the Wizarding World. So when we had the opportunity to go to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter for our 2nd Anniversary, we couldn’t pass it up.

We had so much fun! Zach and I did all the things, drank all the butterbeer, and rode (almost) all the rides. One thing we did not do that we will for sure do next time: buy wands. They do spells now and are only $50 and honestly looked so worth it.
We probably had about 5-6 butterbeers while we were at the Wizarding World, which I do not regret at all. When in Hogsmeade, you better drink all the butterbeer you can find.

We went to both parks, Hogsmeade and Diagon Alley. We bought a 2 day/2 park pass and it was so worth it. We got to see everything we wanted and ride all the rides we wanted to. Zach rode the 3D motion rides I couldn’t ride, and I rode all the roller coasters that he couldn’t ride. It was still a blast even if we couldn’t really ride together.

We enjoyed eating at both Three Broomsticks and The Leaky Cauldron. We were able to explore Knockturn Alley and the Quidditch store.

I’ve never been one to visit a theme park more than once, but I would definitely go back to visit Universal multiple times. The experience is so immersive and the theming is on-point. I love it and I can’t wait to visit later with kids! How fun would that be?!
We also explored other parts of Universal, not just the Wizarding World. 😉
I don’t know why, but these pictures with Marmaduke make me laugh every time I see them.
We really enjoyed our weekend at Universal and can’t wait to go back to get wizarding robes.
Much love,
Chelsea
